Igshaan Adams was Social Fabric artist-in-residence exploring off-cuts. He was able to use the residency to help develop a new body of work, Oorksot. The title is in afrikaans (a South African language). It has 2 translations. One is human remains. The other is remnants. Both, of course, mean what is left behind, to which we can ask to be buried away or to be accepted as part of us?
