Clipping from The New York Times newspaper dated April 20, 1983 when ELi obtained from Disney the rights to publish the adventures of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge in Latin. Thus were born Michael Musculus (Mickey Mouse), Donaldus Anas (Donald Duck) and Scrugulus Anas (Scrooge McDuck). This initiative undertaken by founder Don Lamberto Pigini brought the publishing house to worldwide prominence, ending up on the front pages of newspapers around the world, most notably in The New York Times, which devoted a full-page article to the Latin comics. Even today, the publishing house still produces a Latin magazine to encourage learning the language in a fun way.
