Illustration of rainbow and steelhead trout

This is an illustration of rainbow and steelhead trout in Alaska's Animals & Fishes, a guide to Alaska's many iconic wildlife species. The book was published in 1946 and authored by Frank Dufresne, a former Director of the Alaska Game Commission. The illustrations were done by Bob Hines shortly before he was hired by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and became the National Wildlife Artist.
