Sunderabai was a versatile vocalist who sang bhajans, gazals, film songs with equal ease. She composed music and was an actor in films and dramas. She cut several records, was a regular performer at the All Indian Radio and was a high rank artist in Mumbai Music Circles. She was an advisor at All Indian Radio in the last years of her life.
