"I created this picture to illustrate one of the possible projects that could be considered by the Sydney Harbour Conservancy; namely, adapting Cockatoo Island's Fitzroy Dock – a dry dock constrcuted by convicts between 1847 and 1857 – for events. This is an imagined view, with just a thin film of water at the base of the Fitzroy Dock, to illustrate its dramatic event potential." – Nick Hollo, former Head of Design & Planning and Deputy Executive Director with the Harbour Trust (July 2022).
