Imayotsukasa Brewery: Shinto Festoon Above the Entrance to the Warehouse

At the entrance to the Main Warehouse is a cedar ball which shows the progress of the season's first batch of sake. A Shinto festoon is hung across the door to show that the area beyond the threshold is holy as Japanese sake-making has a long standing tradition of strong connections with Shintoism.
