In "Casablanca Beats", a group of students are empowered to artistic expression through rap music.

Casablanca Beats is an upbeat film set in Sidi Moumen, an impoverished suburb on the outskirts of Casablanca. A former rapper teaches hip-hop music to students in an underprivileged Moroccan neighborhood. Despite differences in identity, religion and politics, he encourages them to bond together and break free from the weight of restrictive traditions.
