In NASA Kennedy Space Center’s Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility, workers, with the help of an overhead crane, lower the New Horizons spacecraft onto a spin table. The spacecraft will undergo a spin test as part of prelaunch processing. New Horizons is expected to be launched in January 2006 on a journey to Pluto and its moon, Charon. It is expected to reach Pluto in July 2015.
