Painting in Acrylic Paint on Metal - in predominantly warm tones

Both paintings have been created by Karl Schmid at the age of 83, one year before his death. In spite of his advanced age, one can admire the mastery of his hand, still incredibly steady, in the even spreading of the flat colour and the perfect definition of the borders (the boundaries between the different tones and colours).
