Inauguration de la Rue Albert Picot, conseiller genevois et père spirituel du CERN

Albert Picot was involved in CERN since its very early days. It was mainly thanks to him that Geneva was put forward as a site for the Laboratory of the new European Organization for Nuclear Research and he played a predominant role in securing the support of the Canton of Geneva which gave CERN its present excellent site. Route Picot is currently hidden under building 40.
