Teotihuacan covered censer, Classic period, with waisted cylindrical base surmounted by a conical lid supporting the rectangular framework of a shrine or temple façade (?), with a mask in the doorway. Censer has lozenge-shaped mica-inlaid eyes, flanged nose ornament, circular earrings, and massive crested headdress, with applied birds' heads. There are medallions and bow-shaped ornaments overall. Painted areas of red, ochre, blue, green and white pigment remain.
