Incense Container with Design of Umbrella

This flat-round shaped work with its lid area raised in the center is, by having several lines radiantly incised from its center outward, molding a conical shaped straw hat for rice planting. Summer is the season of rice planting; thus, it can be said that this work is truly the appropriate incense container for that season.
