Brixton Recreation Centre was built between 1974 and 1985 for Lambeth Borough Council. It was designed by a team led by George Finch and the consultant engineers were Ove Arup and Partners. It includes three swimming pools, a sunbathing deck and a climbing wall that rises through the building's atrium.
