The Geneva meeting between representatives of the foreign anti-Austrian resistance (Edvard Beneš atc.) and the domestic resistance (a delegation headed by Karel Kramář) took place from 28 to 31 October 1918. The participants agreed on the creation of an independent state, which will be a republic, with T. G. Masaryk as President and with K. Kramář as Prime Minister. Both commemorative objects were given to the National Museum in 1924 by Dr. Jaroslav Preiss, Chief Executive Officer of Živnostenská bank in Prague, participant of the Geneva meeting.
