This necklace was discovered in a tomb near Michuwangreung. Although it was found tied together into one group, each piece differs from the others in terms of material, form, size, and color. The pieces are quite various, ranging from agate-based curved jade, multi-faced jade, round jade pieces, jasperbased tubular jade pieces, crystal-based cylindrical jade pieces, and glass-based round jade pieces. There are many different shades of red, blue, and green. Perhaps most notably, the round glass-based jade pieces include one large bead, with a diameter of 1.8cm, the surface of which is decorated with intricate designs of a person’s face, ducks, and flowers cut from blue, yellow, red, and white glass.
