Portable container (inrō) decorated on one side with two quail (uzura) among pampas-grass (susuki). The other side decorated with wild geese (kari) flying over wild carnations (nadeshiko). Inrō signed Koma Kansai. Gold lacquer on wood (togidashi maki-e) with inside in "pear-skin", nasjiji. Probably early 19th century.
