This plaque is dated from the Qing dynasty, in the 61st year of the Kangxi reign (1722). It was inscribed by Zhong Lü, the county head magistrate of Pingyuan county in Guangdong province, and given to Han Risheng, a student of Guozijian. The plaque congratulates Han Sheng for being enrolled in the Imperial College (Guozijian) and says that he had great prospects and would go far. The frame is unadorned.
