KCAI’s innovative curriculum gives students the opportunity to experiment with digital as well as analog mediums to produce compelling work. Students develop skills in software coding, physical computing and sensors, games and system dynamics, rapid prototyping, user testing and experiential design. This coursework provides a great complement to major projects in animation, filmmaking and graphic design. While following processes used in the interactive arts and entertainment and game industries, students explore conceptual sketching, modeling, milestone tracking, error checking and final functioning works.
