Parts of Holy Trinity date to the Medieval period, but some of the features are later additions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The Jacobean box pews are the oldest in Yorkshire. The East window dates from the 15th century and was donated by John Walker (d.1481) a rector of Holy Trinity in 1471.
