The white walls cause the dark wood of this rather simple interior to stand out. The 14th Century church that once stood on this site fell into ruin, but was restored and rebuilt by Lady Anne Clifford (1590 - 1676). This view is from the pulpit, where those giving church services would stand to in front of an audience of churchgoers.
