At the moment, the building is hidden literally behind a mesh, awaiting its uncertain future.
Since 2014, ICOMOS has reported this situation, thanks to joint effort of the ISC20C and ICOMOS Spain. As a result, an International Alert was launched in 2019, to avoid the demolition of this very significant cinema built in the early 20th century in Northern Spain.
