It is mainly composed by the iron-nickel metal, the contents of nickel generally between 5-20 wt %. Scientists believe that it formed in the core area of parent planet with paragenesis of kamacite and taenite. To corrode it by 2% alcohol solution of nitric acid and then polish its surface we can find many cross stripes structure, called “Widmanstätten pattern”.
