Isigolwane / Armband

A Ndebele beaded armband from Mpumalanga. It is made with grass fiber completly covered by beads. They are worn by married women as a decorative piece for your arms. These arm rings are worn as a multi-coloured series across the arm starting with biggest at the top or the arm to ending with the smallest around the wrist.
