Island Life

Zhang Chongqing was born in 1931 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He graduated from the Department of Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1953. He is professor of the Central Academy of Drama, tutor of postgraduate students, member of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Chinese Oil Painting Society, and member of the Art Committee of the Chinese Association of Old Professors. His works are full of romantic feelings, peaceful and tranquil.
