Anna Ermolenko’s pictures can be attributed to Naïve Art. They portray a heavenly village where characters from Russian fairy tales, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, fish and fishermen, animals and hunters, live together in peace endowed with electricity, television and other modern technology. Anna uses the sophisticated technique of the inclusion of many skylines in the composition. The stylization of objects is warm and cozy avoiding any mawkishness.
