Ivan Mazeppa

Ukrainian political and military leader, Hetman of the Zaporozhian Host, the ruler of the Cossack State, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. He secretly signed an agreement with the Polish King Stanisław Leszczyński on the resumption of the Treaty of Hadiach. He was also an active opponent and enemy of the Moscow Tsar Peter І.
