Piraeus

Since about 1990, in his work he studies and reshapes the space either through two-dimensional pictorial representations or through installations, environments and actions, often making use of new technological means. Through a kind of visual, technical and architectural studies of space, he focuses on the idea of its variability.
The work donated by the artist is a graphically rendered top view of part of Piraeus. In a kind of diagrammatic rendering, with a perspective look and phosphoric color, Zafos Xagoraris explores the concept of space here as well and redefines certain dimensions of it.
