John Cording's first shop, specialising in gentlemen's outerwear, opened on the Strand in London in 1839. It moved to 19 Piccadilly in 1877 and into a new building, Denman House, in 1903. Denman House, including Cording's new shopfront, was designed by the architect Harold Arthur Woodington. The building is listed, Grade II.
