Mathematicians, Astronomers and Navigators

Before the relations between the client Michelangelo the Younger and Cecco Bravo got messed up, the painter carried out only the ceiling and a wall and half of the Library. On the west wall of the Studio are placed the Mathematicians, the Astronomers and the Navigators Florentine prominent characters who had distinguished themselves in these disciplines. Thanks to the Buonarrotiana description we know that between the portraits we can find Antonio Manetti, Leon Battista Alberti, Amerigo Vespucci anfd Galileo Galilei.
