Jade Pei in the Shape of a Bird Head

This Pei (pedant) was unearthed from the inner coffin. One end of this rectangular pedant is in the shape of a bird head. Six holes were drilled along one side and the other side is carved into feathers. The whole piece is covered in cloud patterns, meaning that the bird is flying through cloud. The short lines carved along the edge frame all the complex patterns.
