경종 1년(1721)에 영조가 왕세제(王世弟)로 책봉되었을 때 만든 어보이다. 영조는 1694년 태어나 숙종 25년(1699)에 연잉군(延礽君)으로 봉군되었으며, 28세인 경종 원년(1721)에 왕세제로 책봉되어 명을 받들어 정사에 참여했다.
