James Monroe Bust

Margaret French Cresson (1889-1973) was the daughter of prominent American sculptor Daniel Chester French. She created this bust in 1929 and presented it to the James Monroe Museum in 1946 in remembrance of her husband, William Penn Cresson. The bust is located in the museum's garden.
