The Jamia Masjid was the first mosque to be established in Bradford. In 1958 it occupied number 30 Howard Street then expanded either side to include numbers 28 and 32.

The terrace of sandstone houses dates from the mid to late 19th century, and is Listed Grade II for its architectural and historic interest.
