From 'A Pulham Garden', a Pulham and Son, Ltd. catalogue.

Established in 1865 the Pulham family business specialised in garden landscaping and in particular creating rock gardens, ferneries and grottoes. The firm was also famous for the development of 'Pulhamite' a mixture of terracotta and cement used to create natural looking rock formations.
