Guittae Dongi, or jar with a spout, is an earthenware jar used to pour manure, and has a spout-like protrusion on one side of the body that makes it easier to pour out the liquid inside. Manure (usually urine) piled on the field was carried in a manure bucket and poured across the field using this jar. It was also used when moving the urine gathered in a jar into a urine barrel. It has a round, voluminous body, a wide mouth, and handles on both sides. It usually had the capacity of two mal (1 mal = 18 ℓ). The unit of one or two dongi (jar) was used when sending wine or red bean porridge as a gift for special occasions, and by taverns for measuring the quantity of liquor.
