Jar with Two Handles

This grayish-yellow jar has a straight upright rim, a flat base, and two handles attached on opposite sides, with small holes between the handles. This type of pottery vessel is primarily associated with the early periods of the Yeongsangang and Geumgang River basins. Similar specimens have also been discovered in the Kyushu region of Japan, providing important evidence of overseas exchange between Japan and the Korean Peninsula in ancient times.
