'Jardi Tancat' is Catalan for closed garden. The words are sung in this language by Maria del Mar Bonet, a well known singer in Spain. They are old folk lyrics, which she set to music, and are mostly addressed to a supernatural creature; supplications for the most important things human beings need (at least those who live in the Spanish countryside).

Water, we have asked for water
and thou, oh lord, has given us wind,
and thou turned the back upon us and
pretended as if thou does not want to hear us.

Those who know Nacho Duato as a dancer, will not be surprised by the ballet language he employs: a great tension and power, which always manifests itself in a controlled way, proud and with a striking dignity
