Along with Damon Dash and Kareem Burke, JAY-Z co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records. As president of Def Jam Records, he signed Rihanna, Kanye West and J. Cole. Hip hop’s first billionaire, JAY-Z built an empire that extends beyond music to other forms of entertainment, fashion and sports. As he says, “I’m not a businessman. I’m a business, man.” JAY-Z wore this outfit onstage during the Hard Knock Life tour. JAY-Z was inducted into the Rock Hall in 2021.
