The artist on this project is Christopher "C-Ray" Rayson.
Christopher “C-Ray” Rayson is from Dallas, Texas. The artist has loved drawing and creating art since kindergarten. His love of art through the years afforded him a scholarship to the Art Institute of Dallas, where he received an Associate of Applied Arts Degree. His paintings of people and other subjects emerge from a consciousness grounded in reality and convey emotion. Describing his process, the artist says, “I paint the feelings that pique my interest through the experiences I encounter. These include dreams and realities as well as the wild imaginings I perceive. I trust my senses and take time to see and hear and feel and respond to what the universe offers me.” His unique style gives a sense of “Casual Realism”. Even as an established artist who does paintings for celebrities and athletes, he still makes time to introduce children to the magic of visual art through artwork in numerous private homes, night clubs, high schools and barbershops. C-Ray has created works of art for T.I., Lil Boosie, Nipsy Hussle, 50 Cent, Cardi B, Martin Lawrence just to name a few. Check out his artwork at Trap Music Museum in Young Jeezy’s exhibit.
