“Jellyfish Barge” is a floating agricultural greenhouse. Aiming to promote urban agriculture, it features a system that generates clean water and energy using only solar energy. In the face of the growing global demand for crops, the scarcity of water and arable lands will be major issues. Created to address such issues, Jellyfish Barge is a modular unit for crop cultivation that does not rely on soil, fresh water, or chemical energy. This floating agriculture greenhouse uses solar energy to purify polluted water, and is highly economical as it can be built using cheap, widely available materials, such as recycled plastics and wood. Moreover, its desalination system can produce 150 liters of clean water on a daily basis. As such, Jellyfish Barge is an independent module designed to be interconnectable with other ones.
