Jeonmo is a kind of hat for women to block the sun light when going out or riding a horse. The structure of this hat is similar to that of an umbrella and the top of the hat is relatively flat. The flat top is decorated with auspicious motive and Chinese letters such as bat, butterfly, longevity, wealth, good fortune, and mountain, in colored paper. After the decoration, the hat was soaked in oil so that it becomes waterproof. Jeonmo is fastened under the chin with the red strips attached on both sides.
