Composition in black and white. Contour lines, shading and scrapes. Pregamento It depicts Jesus on the cross. In the center of the composition, Jesus stretched over large cross in light diagonally from the left to the right and top to bottom. Jesus is gaunt with suffering face. On the left and on the right, kneeling figure back with hammer in hand, preaching the hands of Jesus on the cross. Shaved areas on the design accentuate the chiaroscuro of the composition.
