Rotary condenser for the new radio-frequency system of the SC

The first of the two rotary condensers for the new radio-frequency system of the SC was transported to CERN in June 1973 and was reassembled by a CERN-AEG team. A second (spare) condenser was being completed in Berlin. In the pictures the clearances between the radial rotor blades and the specially shaped stator blades mounted on the circumference of the housing were being checked.
