The present sacristy, rebuilt in the 18th century, rebuilt in the 18th century, is a spacious room. Its ceiling is richly decorated in plaster painted blue, gold and white, and the floor covered with marble in geometric designs. To the left, as we enter the sacristy, is a set of a large statues including that of St Augustine which is considered to be its best. In the center, opposite the entrance is the statue of the Virgin with St Bernard on Her right and St Benedict on her left. At the far end stands an octogonal reliquary lined with gilt carvings and niches containing busts and statues in wood and clay.
