Although by 1933 cardboard die-cut puzzles became widely available, many wood puzzles could still be found. A manufacturer in Williamsport, Pennsylvania produced wooden greeting cards, printed and then cut into jigsaw puzzles. These were generally mailed to the recipient unassembled.
