Jikji

The character “葛” (gal) is a symbol of Collin de Plancy’s collection. It is the first character of his name in Chinese characters, Gal Im-deok (葛林德). On top of this character is a writing in pencil: “The oldest book known to be printed with casted characters, date = 1377.”
