On this jin-silk pieced together with several fragments, waves composed of whirl-shaped cloud motifs serve as framework. Lines linking the cloud patterns travel through the entire piece, cutting it into multiple sections which are embellished with motifs of dragons, phoenix, tigers, deer and armed soldiers. Woven characters can be found in blanks, with recognizable ones “文” (Wen, means literature), “阳” (Yang, means the Sun), “锦” (Jin, means jin-silk), etc.
