On the back of this men’s shirt there is a piece of square black cloth measuring 20cm in sideline length, on which there can be seen a colorful embroidered pattern with a circle in the center sending out sunshine-like radial lines. Such a kind of motif, sometimes with floral or animal patterns added around the circle, called “bo luo a bo” in local language, meaning the flower of the sun or the moon, or the seal of Kongming, is a signature ornamental element for the apparel of Jino men.
