This 1977 Triple Crown Jersey belonged to J.J. Williams. Wales won the Triple crown (beating England, Scotland and Ireland in the 5 Nations competition) 4 years in a row form 1976-1979.
“JJ” was an International sprinter who developed into a wonderful wing threequarter. He gained his first Welsh cap against France in 1973 and went on to play for Wales 30 times until 1979. On the British Lions tour to South Africa in 1974 he was a star, scoring 4 tries in the test matches. He is also toured New Zealand with the Lions in 1977.
