Costume design for the character Joan on an illustration board in the play Saint Joan.. Designed for the epilogue, the costume represents her accession to heaven and her new status as a saint. The large white wings attached to each arm mimics that of angels and her long light-blue gown adorned with many fleur de lis represents her death for France.
